What is The Degenerate Golfer?

The answer to that question is very simple: it is every person that has ever played this beautiful game, and fallen in love with it.  The word Degenerate in context with this brand doesn't mean you are an absolute heathen of a human being, although there are some of us that may fall into that category which is FINE if you are.  You will receive zero judgment from me and will be embraced into TDG with open arms.  What it means is that you probably hit a shot so pure one time that you could feel it in your bones and into your very soul and have been searching for that same feeling again and again, like chasing a high.  It is as much metaphorical as it is literal, as there are those of us who are degenerate drinkers, smokers, gamblers or God knows what else and they come from all different walks of life but the common thread always comes back to absolute love for the game of golf.

In my 27 years of playing golf I have been a custom club fitter, a caddy, and remain a professional golfer and throughout those years I have had the privilege of playing golf at any level of golf course and environment you can think of, with one thing remaining a constant: from the cheapest municipal executive course to the highest end private country club, we are all equally Degenerate when we are on the golf course and social status goes out the window.

My goal for this brand is to bridge the gap between every level of golfer in any place in the world so that when you are wearing the Degenerate badge, you can wear it proudly and feel like part of a family because we all have the love for the game of golf flowing through our veins, which makes us family.
